Before the end of this year, the eighth release (Batch 8) of the exclusive limited edition Scotch single malt whisky from the Speyside region is coming to us. For this particular edition, the team at The GlenAllachie have combined several casks and aging processes.
The first maturation took place in premium ex-sherry Oloroso casks. The second in the famous exclusive ex-sherry Pedro Ximénez casks. Subsequently, it is aged in virgin oak barrels, from which it acquired a pleasant taste of vanilla, wood and caramel. At the end, the fourth maturation took place in Rioja barrels, which gave the whisky a real twist. The entire maturation process lasted a total of 10 years and was overseen by Billy Walker himself.
The whisky was bottled at cask strength with 57.2 % alcohol content. It is made without added dyes or cold filtration. We recommend serving it plain or with an ice cube at room temperature.

Color: mahogany with distinct brown-gold highlights
Aroma: coffee, nutmeg, oil, nuts, honey, raisins
Taste: distinctive, cinnamon, pepper, molasses, honey, ginger, chocolate
Finish: long, slightly spicy, nuts, fennel, dried fruit
