Tasting note: Distilled at an undisclosed distillery in 2010. A spell in American oak was followed by a finishing in Jamaican rum casks. The nose presents an interesting co-mingling of wild honey and dried fruits with the merest hint of peat, the latter more salient on delivery, which is intense, slightly briney, citrusy... The peat gives a farmy / lanolin-like accent rather than being smokey or coastal. The rum input is slight. Highland Park, no doubt. 56% Alc./Vol. 360 bottles. Non chill filtered.

Notes from the bottler: "Nose: Heather honeyed light smoke with vanilla and fruit. Palate: Gingery heather and caramelised banana amidst a background of light smoky spice."
