A limited-edition blended malt from creative blender and bottler Compass Box, Flaming Heart is made with a combination of heavily-peated malt whiskies matured in a variety of casks including ex-bourbon barrels and re-charred hogsheads, and malt whisky matured in custom-made French oak barrels. Aromas of smouldering peat embers, crystallised ginger and old cigar boxes fill the nose, complemented by notes of rich, oily smoke, fresh herbs, salted toffee, waxy fruit and hints of salty seaweed throughout the palate.
